Enjoy a 5-days private desert tour, from the historic city of Fez to Marrakech. Along the way, you’ll experience Morocco’s breathtaking landscapes, including the Sahara Desert. This tour perfectly blends cultural exploration, thrilling adventure, and natural beauty, offering you the opportunity to create lasting memories while discovering some of Morocco’s most iconic sights.

After your breakfast we will pick you up from your accommodation then will hit the road and drive to our destination, Midelt. The journey takes you through the Middle Atlas Mountains, where you will stop in the charming town of Imouzzer, known for its beautiful and refreshing waterfalls. Continuing on, you will visit Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco” for its alpine architecture and cool climate. A short stop in Azrou, a town famous for its cedar forests and Barbary apes, provides a chance to stretch your legs and enjoy the natural beauty of the area. After these scenic stops in the Middle Atlas Mountains, we’ll continue our journey to Midelt, where we’ll enjoy dinner and spend the night.
The journey begins in Midelt, heading toward the Erg Chebbi Dunes. The first stop is at the Ziz Valley, a dramatic valley carved by the Ziz River, surrounded by cliffs and lush palm groves. Next, you’ll pass through the Tafilalt Oasis, one of Morocco’s largest oases, where date palms and Berber villages offer a stark contrast to the desert landscape. Afterward, you’ll visit the Moulay Ali Sherif Zaouia in Rissani, a significant spiritual site. Rissani itself is a lively town with a traditional market. By afternoon, you’ll arrive at the Erg Chebbi Dunes. The camel ride takes you deep into the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi, where you’ll enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner and spend the night in a Berber-style desert camp, watching the stars above the Sahara.
On the second Day, you’ll wake up early to catch the mesmerizing sunrise over the Erg Chebbi sand dunes. After breakfast, we suggest visiting Khamlia village to experience the soulful Gnawa music performed by the local community.
Then after you will have 2 options: you can either a 4×4 excursion to discover black volcanic rock formations and ancient fossils, or visit a nomadic family living in a traditional tent to learn about their desert way of life, if you prefer a more relaxed experience, or you can simply relax and enjoy the serene surroundings at the desert camp.
On the next day, wake up early and enjoy the magical sunrise over the desert dunes. After breakfast, we’ll continue our way to Ouarzazate. You’ll begin the scenic drive towards Tinghir, a charming town nestled between the High Atlas Mountains and the desert. Here, you’ll have a stop at the nearby Todgha Gorge, a stunning natural wonder known for its towering, 300-meter-high cliffs, where you can take in the breathtaking views or enjoy a short walk through the gorge itself. Continuing, you’ll pass via Dades Valley to make a stop in Kalaat Mgouna which is famous for its vast rose fields. A little down, we’ll reach Soukora, a picturesque oasis town known for its palm groves and ancient kasbahs.
After breakfast, you’ll begin with a morning exploration of Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Sahara. Before departing to Marrakech, you will visit the iconic Taourirt Kasbah, one of the most well-preserved kasbahs in Morocco, then we will move for a visit to the movie Studios, one of the largest film studios in the world, this area has been the backdrop for many famous films.
From Ouarzazate, the journey continues to Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This ancient fortified village, known for its dramatic mud-brick architecture. Ait Benhaddou offers a deep dive into Morocco’s rich cultural heritage, and its striking beauty makes it one of the most photographed locations in the country.
After your excursion in Ait Benhaddou, you’ll continue your journey to Marrakech via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass, a winding mountain road that crosses the High Atlas Mountains. Once over the mountains, we will reach Marrakech, where we’ll drop you off wherever you like.
